I consider myself a "generalist" with regard to style, taking cues from the Owner as to design preferences. Great importance is given to the plan, the hierarchy of elements within the plan as they relate to view, natural light, and prevailing breezes. I respect the Client's budget requirements and work diligently to stay within what has been prescribed in the Client's Program. Outside consultants are employed for other disciplines, such as structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering as well as CAD drawings for permitting and contruction as this allows the freedom to use the particular consultant that is most appropriate for the task.
